This is the place for you if you’re looking for more than just recommendations and guides for travel. You will find them here too, but my intention is more than just sharing detailed information about places. I want to share the spirit in these places and experiences, and inspire you to make the destination like a home for the time you’re there. My hope is that these stories, the ones the mountains and rivers have to tell by the people who live in their foothills and banks, coupled with my perspective as a visitor experiencing these places without the roots that their occupants possess, will encourage you to explore and adventure further than just the more popular and well-known sights. Experience those, sure, but look for the less-exposed places too, like the local parks and trails and historic sites that gave birth to the area. Give yourself the opportunity to truly learn what makes each place on this planet special in its’ own right.
Every piece of this Earth I put my feet in changes me in some way. Whether it is a new location that I’m seeing for the first time or one that I’m returning to because I fell so in love with it when it was fresh, travel brings me closer to myself, to humanity, and whatever land I may be standing on. Dig deep, in where you go and in how you go there.
